The International History Bee and Bowl held its seventh annual European Championships in Prague on 8-10 June, 2018, with Novy PORG as the host venue for all competitions aside from the History Bee of Bohemia (which was played on questions on the history of the Czech Republic outside in Prague’s Old Town Square and on the historic Charles Bridge!). Thanks to Mr. Zach Barnes of Novy PORG for coordinating the hosting arrangements and to everyone who came and played or assisted with the tournament. Congratulations to our many champions and we look forward to seeing all teams and students back in 2018-2019 for IHBB’s eighth year! We’ll likely be adding a few additional regional tournaments, and we will be posting information on our 2019 European Championships in this spot as soon as the dates and venue are secured. We’re also looking forward to the 2018 International History Olympiad in Berlin this summer as well! Have a great summer, and we’ll see you next competition year!
